Support my 28km Long Walk Home to Help People in Crisis
Growing up in Kings Cross, Wayside Chapel was just around the corner from my home. Even as a kid, I was captivated by the energy, warmth, and chaos that emanated from the rundown building. As the years have flown by and Wayside has evolved into the thriving hub it is now, I've seen firsthand the monumental impact it has made to people who are really doing it tough.
Wayside provides love and support for people facing a complex web of issues, including homelessness, addiction, mental health issues and loneliness. It’s a safe, welcoming place where everyone is person to be met not a problem to be solved.
That's why I'm proudly participating in the Long Walk Home. This 28km walk symbolises the daunting distances someone facing homelessness might walk just to find shelter or access services. On the 7th of October, I'll be walking from Parramatta to Kings Cross, and I invite you to lend your support by sponsoring my walk. Every dollar raised goes to help someone in crisis.
Together we can ensure the most vulnerable people in our community get the essential services they need and show them that they’re loved and not forgotten.
